You just bought a wonderful piece of jewellery forged from the brass recovered from remnants of war. Congratulations!
The brass we use in each of our products can come from a single bomb or a mix of bullets and bombshells and landmine covers recovered from the Cambodian soil. The origin is uncertain, it could have been American or Chinese bombs (the Khmers were backed by China). We can not be sure of either the composition or age of the material used. For this reason, even with all the care, the material can change over time. All of our jewellery has been plated with 18kt gold similar to the original colour of the brass in order to prevent tarnishing. All the stones embedded in our jewellery come from Cambodia, are natural and untreated, therefore unique. They can have different shades of color and have inclusions that show their age and natural beauty. These particularities do not represent a defect in production.
You can clean your jewelry using a soft cloth to keep it glossy. We advise against the use of chemicals and to avoid contact with chlorine and bleach. Some cosmetic lotions can also affect the plating so take care with hand creams and handwashing. All of our products are nickel cadmium and lead free.
Products purchased and shipped from Cambodia have a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects over this timeframe. This means that products with defects and imperfections can be returned within 1 year from the date of purchase, provided that damage is not caused by improper use of the product. You will need to keep the Order Receipt and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating the reason for return.
Please note: Earrings are not subject for resale unless they are defective originally.
